well, didn't watch the movie but i thought the premise of the movie fricken hilarious and kinda silly...
so, women are all one-dimensional and can be "won" with advice from some "guru"?

i watched n i liked... it's good fun entertainment. Before watching the show, read some of the reviews and they weren't so good hence I set lower expectations for it. Perhaps because of that, it way exceeded expectations. Will Smith is so funny, smart and charming! He's got this effortless charisma that makes up for any flaw in poor writing/directing. Loved his smooth talking, his confidence, the mischievious glint in his eye. Eva Mendes was very sporting in the show and not a bad first effort for a model-turned-actress. Kevin James was hilarious and endearing as the fat loser who finally got the hot gal. Was laughing almost throughout the whole show. Thoroughly enjoyable! Go watch!

This show rocks!!
Will Smith was so kewl in this movie! He's so smooth, so suave!!
And I loved Eva Mendes when she put on that suit and that blue-tinted sunglasses for a day out jetting in the sea. (What in the world do you call that thing anyways?) And neuros, I agree that for a first acting attempt, she was good. 
That show brought back a lot of memories of New York City. I was there by Ellis Island where they visited the museum and where Eva Mendes did that funny crying thing when she saw her ancestor's name in the book. The ferry you take to Liberty Island where The Statue of Liberty was, would stopover at Ellis Island en route back to NYC.
And that fat bloke's name? He's just sooo adorable! Remember his weird dancing? And that funny crab dance he did? He's agile too, for someone his size! Remember that light-footed dance he did right after he kissed his girl?
And ooooh... I think he brought a pack of Krispy Kreme doughnuts to Hitch's house when he visited him as Hitch was packing up. You haven't eaten doughnuts until you've eaten Krispy Kremes!!!
I really really need to make a trip to the US again, soon!!

Especially the ending part where they are all dancing happily away...

I liked the show. It's a fun movie. Eva Mendes is a hottie.
Contains some truths about life, for example, Murphy's Law - sometimes anything that can go wrong will go wrong... especially on a hot date.

And... I think, when it comes to charm and slickness, some men got it, other men don't. You can engage the best trainer, but the same line uttered by different people do not yield the same results.
Kevin James did pretty good for his big screen debut, but there's a risk of him being typecast in the fat buffoon role. -
