There are sooo many great things about being single!
- You can do whatever you want, whenever you want it, however you want it, and nobody's there to offer their (sometimes unwanted) opinions.
- You don't have to do housework regularly and you can actually keep dust bunnies if you choose to!
- You can eat 'non-breakfast' things in the morning, eg. potato chips, ice cream, chocolates, sweets, etc. and no one's there to nag you to 'eat right'.
- You can enjoy the company of different men without incurring anyone's jealousy or fury.
- You can have your needs met by several different folks without feeling guilty that you didn't turn to your 'other half' (argh! hate that term!) first.
- No one criticises your lingerie.
- You can be a night owl doing whatever you want the whole night - be it a pajama party with the girls or hanging out in town the whole night or going to the beach and yakking the whole night through or reading till the wee hours of the morning.
- You can retreat and don't talk if you don't want to without having to explain to your 'other half' (argh!) why and reassuring him that you're ok and all that.
- You can go on vacation and do whatever you choose to, or nothing at all.
- You won't feel consumed by jealousy... because there's no one to get jealous over!
- You don't have to develop an interest in things that your 'other half' (aaaargh!) is into.
- You don't need to compromise about future plans. Yay!!
- You can move halfway across the world at a moment's notice and at a moment's whim, if you want to.
- You can get addicted to a game and game the entire day and night and next day and night... Be a real game addict!
- You can make purchases to add on to your collection of toys and books and what-not and nobody would complain or make comments because, well, it's your life, your money, your space.
- You can buy just one set of cutlery, one bowl, one wineglass, etc.
- You don't have to crack your brain thinking about the perfect birthday gift for that special him/her.

So many more reasons but can't really think of any more now.
Hmm... I think I listed a few things that are more appropriate for 'The Best Things about Living Alone' but ah well, pretty sama-sama at times.
