Pointless Expenditures

well, a maximum of once a month, i have a "pointless expenditure of the month"
last month's was a huge expenditure and it wasn't that pointless.. but it kinda killed the ability to spend on other things... i bought a new mobile phone after the last one kicked the bucket.. cost me $480 for a V3 Razr
in the past, i've had stuff like silly toys, DVDs, gadgets...
so, heck.. if you guys have any "pointless expenditures", just list them so we can rant for or against it -
just paid $1k for a color printer

Full proportional digital response through infrared means that you can control turns and speed precisely through twin joysticks. Up to four participants can shoot-it-out as independent combatants, or as teams! Sensors on each tank register hits and they shudder in place when hit. Standard combat gives each tank identical capabilities. Switch over to Expert Mode for more realism; tanks' rate of fire, firepower and ability to take damage all vary by chassis!
Requires four AA-size batteries (sold seperately) in the handset to provide power -- the tanks themselves recharge their internal cells by snapping onto the back of the unit for 10 minutes. Then you're ready for 15 minutes or more of action! Highly recommended. -

I think this is one of those integral differences between men and women
Men make HUGE occasional pointless purchases.....
and women... sigh... make frequent small pointless purchases...
(Look at dresser full of unused pendants, hairclips, cutesy magnets, useless ornaments, cute post-it pads, cute stationery, cute cosmetics, cute ....)

I don't earn enough to think of pointless expenditures, nor have the time to see what I want to buy for pointless expenditures..

just brought a nearly S$20 anime-featured cup for my younger brother just so that he can stop sulking.. expensive sia... i keep on telling myself.. that is a collector item thus worth the price.. whatsoever.. right now.. i am the one sulking..

Blew 200 bucks on a sony external DVD burner with custom fans and neon lights
