Eating Crabs

well, this came because i mentioned Mud Crabs to cammy over some other thread...
and also because of my gluttony
i like to eat the meat in the body of the crab.. it takes a lot of shelling but i feel it tastes better and is more tender...
cammy says she like the claws coz they're juicier
after all this.. come.. tell us which part of the crab do you like
and... when do we get together to go eat crab?

i like both the claws and the body! the claws are easier to eat but the body has nicer, more tender and "sweeter" meat... but they must be very fresh, else i won't eat, bcos i'm v sensitive to the "fishy" smell...
steamed crabs...
cold flower crabs w vinegar...
alaskan crab legs...

any suggestions where to go eat?
what kinda crab i like, no skill required in cooking coz just add some cooking wine and ginger in the water to steam the thing, and it's done -
I'll take either body or claws but not the legs! Those are so skinny.

but I like to play with the claw after eating the meat inside, you know, pull the thing and the claw and open and close -
I like the body!!
Esp. those crabs that are pregrant, got eggs somemore!!

when I was a kid really loved the claws but now as an adult dont sem to enjoy it that much anymore....love the body now and the little legs!!

Anyone for Sri Lanka crabs, they are hugh too... lots of fresh. I love crab any way it is cooked. There are those cooked in curry, black pepper, chilly, barbecued and of course steamed... Sometimes by 6pm now they are out of crabs!!!!!Used to be by 7pm.
Yup they are most famous for their Black Pepper Crab.
As for crab parts. I love the body and the claws. -
