Perhaps...for some people it is not that they have no "thoughts", just that they find it hard to put their thoughts into words. -

Warning : My thought of the day is kinda depressing. So if you dont wanna spoil your day, your night, your life, whatever, do not read on.
I was just browsing through my friendster and came upon my best friend profile. Looking at it brings back a lot of nostalgic feelings. He wasnt just my best friend and only real friend, but an ex boyfriend whom I had much cherished in the older days.
Looking at his photos with his friends and girlfriend reminds me of how much I have lost. Do not mistake me for I have long regarded him as a friend and no longer harboured any romantic notions of him, though that path had been long and hard.
It was just that once he and I shared a world so close and bonded that when it was so suddenly severed I lost myself in the subsequent years. I may not have found myself back yet but I am trying hard. Everyday.
That period of time I had lost a large number of friends. Whom I am trying to find the courage to apologise for taking off like that. I admit I have a problem with taking flight rather than confront problems with relationships and friendships. But lately, I realised running away aint going to help, especially when I realised I missed those people whom I had lost so much.
I treasured friendships alot. Especially when I know true friendships are rare and hard to find. Yet I find myself daily battling with a cowardly response of running away. I have no idea why but talking about issues like these confuses me much. And in confusion I sought safety in distance. I knew that probably aint the right thing to do but I still persist in doing it. I do not know why.
And looking at those photos reminds me once again that I have not sought these friends out and bridge the gap between us. I know that most of these people had moved on with their lives and I am reluctant to seek them out and cast a shadow across their bright lives with my presence and I do not know if I would ever run away again. I especially do not want to find them only to lose them yet again. Thus this constant inner turmoil about what to do.
Sigh...I guess that was a long thought of the day... -

I think most if not all of us has at one point of our life sink into that kind of mode or reminiscence. I have my share too but I take it as a beautiful memory. A lesson learnt and with it, enrich my current self being.
Take chocolates....oops 4pm, got to go. "Pang kang liao". Anyways, heard chocolates has this ingredient that brings out love in people.
