.... I got nothing against cats ( in fact i enjoy the movie "Catwoman" & reading Garfield's comics ). Cats cannot do alot of things human beings can like asking you " HOw are you?' "How's your day?" " Have you eaten yet?", share your problems, your joys.......... etc etc..... -
ThereÂ’s no true way to live except to see the world for what it is- ugly. In effect, weÂ’re sponging off each other, one way or another. Some people more, some less. Life is a complication, which turns into a conspiracy, and finally culminates in a tragedy. Show me one happy person and IÂ’ll show you delusion. Those who arenÂ’t deluded will never be happy, and I think I fall into that category. I still wish IÂ’ve met someone like Tim, who can blow me away with his intellect, but IÂ’ll need to get out of this rut next year, live the dream life that has seen me through my most charmed period and practical hell. I yearn so much for it. I know this dream is not fallacious. ItÂ’s much more worthwhile to invest in a dream than to build hopes on people because all betray, cheat then leave you to rot in eternal hell at some point. YouÂ’ll be brought so high, then, dropped like a potato. Disappointment is 100% guaranteed if you ever built your dreams in people. Why even bother believing in something that clearly doesnÂ’t exist anyway. The media will trick you. You will be tempted to fall for fictitious stories from the very same people whoÂ’ve never had love, but chose to continually believe in it just because they desperately needed something to believe in. the best way to live shall be to be totally aloof and detached. ItÂ’s peopleÂ’s core negativity that makes them think that itÂ’s impossible to do that. IÂ’ve seen enough and I honestly think thatÂ’s the best way to live. DonÂ’t mix emotions with body. Better still; leave emotions out of the way totally.

And you are right to say that I forgot how to trust people... The little trust yes, things to do be done, appointments to be kept, etc yes. But lemme ask you, who is the person you would trust with your life ? Anyone ? if there is someone for you, then yes, I envy you

And cats can ask the above questions. When they rub against you and purred, they are asking how are you and somehow reassuringyou that they will be there for you. Have you eaten yet is their way of saying I haven eaten yet...when they crowd around you and beg for food *GrInz*
They bring joy and laughter to my life, misery and sorrow only when they are not around. So...I'd say...Cats are better -

I believe you must be hard done by people around you. I hope your mis-trustful of people is a temporary one, or else in the long run, it won't do you any good. It will affect your self-estem and sent you into deep depression. Life will be a living hell...
.......what you had lost cannot get back, but at least makes you appreciate what you have now. You still have yourself, i am sure you trust yourself? Learned from your past experience, re-bulit your trust on people again. It won't be easy, still got to try right? Nothing venture, Nothing Gain.

..... yess there are people around me that i trust ; my family, very small group of pals, my neighbour, the policeman, the hawkers (trust they don't poison me) my fish (i treat them as people)
