Now on for 3 days only - 30 April - 2 May at the Singapore Expo Hall 6B from 10am to 9pm.
According to their flyer,
"Many new titles added daily!
Bestselling novels at 3 for $10, quality children's books at 4 for $10, and ... more than 70% discount, on almost all titles."
I'm on Night Duty but will be heading there after work tomorrow morn, unless tonight ends up super challenging.

Aiyah... didn't know you went. i dont go for book fair much, cannot compare is it good or is it worth it to go.
according to my friend that goes book fair, he comment is that it does not have the books he required. according to his wife, he normally carry trolley loaded with books back, today he only pick up a few.
I was there around 7pm, there are not as crowded as i expected. At least the carpark is half filled....book choices are not as many as i anticpated too..maybe i am late that is why all grab by the early birds.
i did see NETS, i couldnt recall seeing Visa facilities, since i only got 2 books and decided to pay in cash, didnt pay attention to the details.
payment queue is short, maybe 5mins wait...maybe it is late that is why less people.
very little of old magazines, i dont know abt market rate, but it looks abit short of magazines there. -
Hmm... from your report, kops, it doesn't sound as interesting as I thought. Gotta think twice about going there now.

OK, I was there this morning way before they opened their doors to the public.
Despite going there straight after night duty, I was totally awake and no one would know I didn't get to sleep a wink at all the previous night and hark... no coffee imbibed!! 
It was a large hall. The front half was full of books piled on tables whilst the back half was cordoned off for the staff to sort out the boxes and crates of books. It was divided into Childrens' Section to the far right, then Cookery, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Business, and Mandarin. There were novels that were three for $10 indeed but none of the titles were of interest to me. I ended up getting three cookbooks and about five other non-fiction books for light reading.
I'm really happy with my cookbooks! One of them is a Sri Owen cookbook on Noodles that costs $36++ and it was there, spanking new, for just $8!! I was grinning like a Cheshire cat with that great treasure!!
I've been to the warehouse sale by MPH in previous years and in terms of variety of titles, I think MPH wins hands down. So, another trip to Expo next month for the MPH Warehouse Sale! -

BTW, I took a taxi home from Expo because my purchases were heavy and I was getting tired as it was way past noontime and I thought I'd better get some sleep before tonight's shift.
