I was just grumbling to Bear that I don't know anyone else who reads Dean Koontz!!
Yesterday, amongst my 'treasure finds' were four of Koontz' books - 'The Face', 'The Taking', 'Life Expectancy' and 'Odd Thomas'.
I've read 'Intensity' and 'Tick Tock'... can't really remember anything about them now as I read it quite a long time back but I'm sure you'll enjoy them, as I always do Koontz' books. 
I also grabbed Crichton's 'Timeline' yesterday. -

missing Frank Herbert books too.. he wrote pretty okay horrors too...
nuts.. will have to part with around $150 for the series

Yeah his books are very special in a way..His one book that caught my attention was "seize the night"..His characters are very humourous and the stories always have a sort of spiritual theme to them...and well...he always have good endings !
And yeah, I read most of his books before too. Since they are on sale, I might as well get them. I have a habit of rereading books anyway, haha. -

at least their dean koontz books are the newest ones... i think i've read almost all this books...
books at the library are usually too old or it's on loan... -
Early birds caught the worm, Ferret... yesterday morning, I saw a few Terry Pratchett books, three titles, all from the Discworld series.
