That's what happens to me sometimes too. No matter how interested I am in finishing a book or watching a movie, I will still fall asleep at some point one. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm a panda... sit / lie there, then fall asleep very easily.Originally posted by shinta:ooh.. i sat cross-legged, with the pillow on my lap, n the book on top
the only drawback would be, numb legs.. or, i'd lie with my elbows proppin me up, n the book gets rested on the pillow i'd read, den nap, den read, den nap again.. for the whole of ytd night..till around 1.. cos i had difficulty slpin..
if i weren't tired, i'd hav read thru the whole thing at one shot, the way i did with harry potter book 4 n 5Originally posted by Rhonda:That's what happens to me sometimes too. U fan lao huan tong ah? Still like gin nah books?Originally posted by Rhonda:
Wah, you're sooo sweet to me!
There are only a few I can think of right off the bat now.
- The Little Matchstick Girl
- The Enchanted Forest (by Enid Blyton but I want the hardcover, fully illustrated version. )
- When the Wind Blows (an illlustrated 'comic' book... actually, it's more for adults than for children because it talks about atomic war and the aftereffects);
- The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse (the fully-illustrated version... LOVE those full-colour food illustrations! hehehe! )
Children's Books these days are soooo alluring and irresistable!
Aiyah... don't call me lao huan tong, ah!! Now, I wanna ... hmm...and become cryBABY... instant youth! hahahaha!!!Originally posted by The man who was death:U fan lao huan tong ah? Still like gin nah books?

That's a THICK'n'FAT book!! How could you finish it at one shot?! Better to savour it, digest it in small portions, mull over the good bits,... enjoy it thoroughly this way!
hehe... I actually posted in response to shinta's post, but sure! I'll look around for these books the next time I venture into the discounted bookstore (which is everyday! haha!) & see if the titles you mentioned are there! (I think I've seen Town Mouse and Country Mouse before)Originally posted by Rhonda:
