Holiday without your other half

I'm just curious how many ppl here take holidays on their own or with their friends without their other half, and if the other half minds if you decide to go on holiday without him/her.
Was just wondering because Chris and I do take seperate holidays and holidays together because of work commitments etc and we think it is something very normal since both of us need our own space. -

i backpacked in europe for 3 weeks while my wife was busy at work. -

My darling is going away next mth with his buddies to Vietnam. Making a list of things for him to buy back. I'm gonna make him lug back the Vietnamese Milk Fruit which I love so much
The last time he went to Bali without me, I made him buy me lots of Passion Fruit -

We always do that when I go on biz trips
Worst thing was that he is happily sight-seeing and I'm busy throughout the day working

My darling requires me to invite her for any Holiday trip. But will often not tag along since my holidays can involved more "exercise" (E.g. Climbing Mt. Kota Kinabaru or go SCUBA diving).

I travelled around Europe without my partner..went to Paris..tho it was the city of lovers, it wasnt that lonely being without my partner

When i go for biz trips, i will tend to extend on my own... preferably my other half join me lah... but sometimes work commitemnts and cost (airfare to US) deter us.
For us, she tend to go holidaying after biz trip also. sometimes alone and sometimes with colleagues... i am ok.
But we do not delibrately plan for holidays without each other.
So little time for each other so if holiday must do things together. -

I'm still single, but I feel it's healthy for a couple to go on separate trips without their significant other now and then.
I guess it correlates to the amount of space we each need - different strokes for different folks! Whilst some are like our canine friends who just cannot exist happily without company, there are those of us who resemble the felines' mostly independant nature more.
Personally, I don't think I can tolerate boyfriends who are too 'clingy' - I have a great need for personal space. Whilst I'd love to travel together most of the time, I think I'll relish the occasional 'retreat' where I can hang loose with my close friends or my girlfriends.

cos my hubby does shift work
it isn't always easy to go on trips together
so yeap, I go on short trips without him too
with my buncha friends
It would be nice to have him along
but I enjoy myself a lot too anyways
sometimes I feel a bit guilty enjoying it so much when err
he's not there..
cos its different bringing a partner along
when you go on a trip with a buncha friends even though he knows them well too.
but there are places we want to visit together
that I wouldnt dream of going without him -
