Eric is so philosophical todayOriginally posted by EricDraven:I think most people lost some part of themselves as they grow older.
Innocence turns into cynicalness and naiveness becomes pretentiousness...
So I guess my innocence (some) would be my favourite item that I have lost...
That aint the full list. Sigh. I lose memories too. I think that would the most painfulOriginally posted by Rhonda:Wow, ferret... a lot of precious things lost! Losing your poems must have been especially painful!
Originally posted by Ferret:1. My baby blanket. I know its childish, stupid etc but I had it till I was 18 and was terribly attached to it. I suspect my ex pet cat dragged it out somewhere. (and no it wasnt an ex pet because of this)
2. A book about what to do in emegencies. I threw a tantrum and screamed bloody murder when I discovered my then baby brothers had destroyed it with crayons and other colour pens. I love my books.
3. My Macbeth textbook for Literature in Secondary school. I cant find it after I shifted house ! *Grrrrr*
4. My poems, those I wrote and upload to a certain red froggie website, naively thinking websites are forever. It was taken down a few months later after the website closed down and I dont have a spare copy of all those poems
5. My small teddy bear my first boyfriend gave to me. It has great sentimental value. Apparently another one of my ex pet cats had great fun with it
6. My mp3 player ! It was stolen recently. Sigh I won't go into that one. I just bought it 3 mths ago ! #@#$^&&^*!$@!!%
Well, things lost, things gone. I have heard of a fantasy land where lost items ended up, maybe one day when I died I could browse through that place
