......must be really bored. "Boh me kia cho ley". Weather so good (I mean to the Canadians lah, I am feeling so hot and humid) so even my manager ask me to take one hour off early to enjoy the weather. Seems like "boh lang cho kang".

I guess 'Bear' has cute and adorable connotations. You automatically think of a teddy bear, cute, cuddly, furry, huggable, siiiiiiiiiigh!! Get a giant teddy bear and you can siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink into its huge arms and feel sooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood.

I still wish I could change my nick... I'd change it to 'Schweetheart', a TY Beanie Baby monkey that's pretty cute.
But... it'll also be nice having folks call me, 'Yoohoo! Schweetheart!!' And wah, imagine if there's a guy here I like and he says to me, 'Hi, Schweetheart!!' Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh... I'll melt into a puddle even if the temperature here was sub-zero! -

Rhonda : oh man......I thought I was dreaming with the lights on. Then, I realise that it is only afternoon. But hey, you sure have great imagination! I do share your sentiments too. Oh, I know I have a hubby at home and he does the hugging business too but a bear hug? Oh, I will be so lost in its fur and size. Fret not. White knight in shining armour will appear at an appropriate time. Oh yeah, the "si me langs".....sure or joking? My age group are the ah peks. But got one young chap. Early 40s, HKG Chinese. Boleh tak? But then long distance r/s....can be a challenge ah?

In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear.
When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months.
I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid.
I could deal with that, too.
When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute cuddly cubs.
I could definitely deal with that.
If you're a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.

Y'know, when I think of 'Bear', I think of my good pal, Elizabeth's husband. She's close to your age and lives in the US. We first met as penpals cuz we were both TY Beanie Babies collectors. I got to meet her and her husband not too long ago when I was in the US for a clinical attachment. And y'know, I want to grow old with a special someone like them! David's big and tall and when he hugs Elizabeth, it's like... siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. David's quiet, he tahan's Elizabeth's nonsense (when I glance at him when she goes on and on at him for doing something wrong, he'll just grin, shrug his shoulders and roll his eyes! hahaha!), he's very patient and easy-going and... he gives her bear hugs!!! siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggghhhhhhhhhhh! -
