Well, from the capitalist's perspective, it's all rather simple, isn't it?
You've got two friends fighting over who dresses more sexy. The fighting part's seen as a liability, when it could easily be an asset, as already pointed out by the good members of this forum (some dead pharoh wannabe being the exception).
On top of that, given that the situation is already existing, one could easily roll it over into further profit by inviting other people to come watch the festivities (after all, some here have already expressed interest), creating more friendships and, in turn, potential for future profit.
