Pick of the Movies - Fantastic Four!

Went to watch a movie this morning and saw the trailer for The Fantastic Four!
I've read the Fantastic Four comics a looooooong time ago because dad used to collect comics. Here's a short introduction of the Fantastic Four characters :
- Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, who can elongate his body;
- Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, who not only can become invisible at will but can render other objects invisible;
- Johnny Storm/Human Torch, who can shoot fire from his finger tips and bend flame; and
- Ben Grimm/The Thing, a hideously misshapen monster with superhuman strength
Together, the Fantastic Four battle the evil Doctor Doom.
Hmm... I'm sure Doctor Doom and Darth Vader are distant relatives!

Though Doctor Doom does look a little.... weird.
I dunno... maybe it's just me.

I agree too. Jessica Alba too young to be Sue Storm. She ought to be more auntie-ish like the mom in the Incredibles. Movie sold out authenticity for sex appeal !

Just watched lots of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 'Mr & Mrs Smith' yesterday. Great movie and both the actors look soooooo good in the movie! I think it would be overkill though, to have Angelina Jolie AGAIN in another Summer movie release.Originally posted by JLennon:yup. now that you mentioned, Uma Thurman sounds good but she has that smoldering look in her that the aunty Invisible Woman should not have. Of course, considering how freely he admitted to his part in damaging the comic book movie franchise because of Batman & Robin, I wasn't surprised when he wasn't chosen.
If he had been chosen then Renee Zellweger could have been Susan Storm. After all, Clooney and Zellweger are good friends.
Of course, that's just another 'what if' in the timeline of history. -
Clooney... i dunno.. i feel he's overrated as an actor..
he's more famous for who he dates than his work
but then, FF isn't really a great stretch for acting.. whereas Spiderman and Batman are very very human... -
