  Some folks bring out the best in us whilst others bring out the devil incarnate in us. It's hard to explain but I guess it's just the chemistry between the two.
  
  If you're lucky enough to have a flatmate who jives with you, then things will be mostly peachy. But if you're stuck with one who just grates on your nerves, then probably, something adverse is happening on the pheromones level.
  
  Of course, things aren't as simplistic as this, but I just thought this might be an interesting angle!
