Ooooohhhheeeeeeee!!! I've been yearning for a Digicam for the longest time and it just might become a reality soon!!

I really oogle at the S2 IS, which costs $949 now and comes with freebies.
BUT, what's really within my budget would be the Power Shot A520 at $499.

Seriously though, the minute we move over to places like Australia, we immediately fetch at least S$1K more, after tax! And if we make that trip over to the US, the difference is even more staggering!
For a profession that faces serious health hazards and threats and that takes on the heavy responsibity of preserving and saving lives, what they pay here is tragic. -

Seriously though, the minute we move over to places like Australia, we immediately fetch at least S$1K more, after tax! And if we make that trip over to the US, the difference is even more staggering!

You've got that right!
