  cuz i went to take a look at the papers
  then i saw got 3 types
  silky glossy and matt
  wat do they mean ah?

  i'm not joho, so my explanation doesn't involve buckets, football or rain. All i can say is, either you're too near... or too far when focusing. what is the correct focal distance? i'm waiting for the buckballrainer to explain

  but mine`s auto focus
  instead of focusing on the droplets
  it focused on the leaves

  and BBB, try focussing on the subject first by pushing the shutter button halfway, the move away and then click

  Jumped in on this thread a little late.
  
  I've got the PowerShot S1IS, and apart from the lack of macro settings, I've been pretty happy with it. At this stage there's no point in me going from the S1 to S2 - if and when I choose to upgrade, it'll be the EOS350, or whatever model happens to succeed it it at the time.

  Now that's a good prosumer that is capable for taking events, just add an external flash and turn on the IS

  See that streak of bright light near the skyscrapers? The aliens have landed!!!
  
  Actually, that's just the spotlight that they've been playing with over at the Padang since last week or so. My guess is they're preparing for National Day.

  I like the first pix best. At first, it sort of looked to me like foams from alien, then I look again and then "wah....yah man.......it's water". Nice shot!!!

  I bring my digicam with me everyday when I step out of the house now. I'm ever ready for photo opportunities!
  
  I'm thinking of taking photos of food that I eat at Gluttons Bay. I think it would be interesting.
