  Ok, i dont know why
  
  whenever i walked up to press the up button, the lift door would always open even as i walked up, arm not even up yet to press the button
  
  and creepy thing is, this almost always happen whenever i return from town in the wee hours of the morning..

  actually i do nothing. at my block of flats, if i pressed open every time i heard footsteps, i'll NEVER get upstairs.
  
  major thoroughfare lar my block.

  yah loh.. it happened to me a few times oso.. especially in the lifts of newer hdb estates. why ah? dun think they installed motion sensors to the lifts rite?

  I quickly press door close, and laugh as the person's footsteps suddenly increase in pace, but still fail to enter the lift in the end
