when i grow up, i wanna be a kid

I wished to be a free lance artist who owns a studio and goes to office as and when i want, my corporate work requires me to come out with concepts on branding and design.
I can leave my office as and when i want, no one will stop me.
Because i'm doing consumer survey most of the time.
I will create the corporate image/logo/product to be an icon in people's mind.
I will do my works - draw and paint as and when it is thru my leisure.
i want and have exhibitions to sell them thru invitations.
Thereafter, twenty years.
I will be a lecturer in a top Design university. Imparting my knowledge to the students. Till the end.

Raise horses/do farming in the mountains of Montana, where there is cool weather, snow, majestic mountains, rivers, fresh air, no crowds and no traffic noise. Or run a cafe/bakery in a small town in a temperate country (cool weather is a must!).

To be a Clinical Nurse Specialist, but need to work only like 3-4 days in a week when I run my clinic. Own a nice cozy house and a few cats. Own a few private apartments in different locations to get rental income from.
That'll leave me with plenty of time to do whatever I fancy, like, go on road trips / short vacations to well-known established tourist areas AND lesser-known charming, untouched areas. Now and then, attend short cooking classes and concerts and what-not events I fancy. Now and then, hold small, cozy gatherings where I'll do the cooking. And as a side-hobby, sell items on Yahoo! Auctions.
That will be a really comfortable lifestyle with lots of free time!

for me, i would like to open my own small cakery with very lovely sweet cakes and desserts! i would like to stay in some kind of small village and lead a simple life.
but i think it's impossible to live in a small village in singapore! whaah!
so the next best thing is to work as those neoprint shop all day. after work, go shopping and spend ma money! yay! ^_^ -
do freelancing in design and programming, with own studio in town and teach part time in university or/and do some community work since timing flexible. continue on to phd after several masters. learn how to cook and if got family spend lotsa time with em.

Own a photography school with the wife and specialise in street photography.Perhaps I'll own a loft in NYC, and a beachfront house in Jurien Bay, Australia, where perhaps the kids and wife can share with me sunrise over the Indian Ocean.

What I'll probably become..
Maybe middle management in an advertising agency or some stat board
A Duxton Plain HDB apartment on the 50th floor.
Two kids who squabble and a wife that comes home dead tired.
Perhaps one SUV in the carpark lot
And one small photobook in limited print from my years of photography.

Being financially free - having paid for my propert(ies)... hehe yes I'd like to own more than 1.... 1 to live in, 1 to escape to in the mountains/countryside, & maybe another few more to rent out to others.
Being healthy, as pct mentioned... cos no health = no wealth! -

hmm maybe good to have enough capital to set up a small stall by the beach...
sell chilly fruits and fruit juices
maybe salads or sandwiches or watever
and when there is no crowd
to chill out and stone
look at the flickers of sunlight dancing on the waves
and my husband fixing our boat in the shade
my cats staring at him with eyes half open
and feel the sand between my toes
with my dog sitting next to me
and at night, we don't need to pack up and go home
because we have a small cabin just next door
no aircon, just the warm sea breeze wafting in
and it turns really really cold when there's a sea storm
and the dog will hide under the bed cos there's thunder
and the cats will try toe sleep on our blanket cos its warm -

And yes, it will be lovely to own a little cafe or something like that by the beach, wouldn't it? Serve cold drinks, cold desserts and cold beer to tourists, talk to them, the menu? ... whatever we feel like cooking that day! hehehe!
Actually, in France, there are little bistros like that, in the suburbs. Everyday, the same few customers would walk in and whatever the owners cook for lunch that day, would be their lunch too. Charming! -

The most stable (riskless) investment would be US Treasury Bonds...
