Actually, in France, there are little bistros like that, in the suburbs. Everyday, the same few customers would walk in and whatever the owners cook for lunch that day, would be their lunch too. Charming!
need somewhere more earthy... somewhere that don't require me
to provide... very good service. U know where I don't need to make small talk to people I don't feel like talking to.
I dont mind Singapore really.
I like to have my friends in close access.
Yeah we talk about this as our retirement plan all the time...

Haven't been there but have read about it and watched travel shows on TV.
I do know of one place with beachfront stalls like that... Phuket! -

My dream life would also include having a spouse who is a homebody like me! Someone only slightly more extroverted than I am - I like privacy. We'll have a home large enough for us to have our own study. Have a library in between, linking both rooms. hehehe!
I'd like to have a feature corner where our CD collection is stored and where we have this kewl computer cum audio machine whereby you can control which music plays in which corner of the house! In certain rooms in the house, you'd have small consoles to control the music selection too. There'll be a huge database of MP3's to select music from! Kinda like an integrated DJ station! hehehe! Kewl or not?
There'll be two kitchens - an indoor one and an outdoor one! We will be very keen on cooking and our kitchen shall be well-equipped with lots of appliances and what-not. We'll have close friends over pretty regularly.
And, it shall be soooo heavenly to live on top of a hill where one side of the house overlooks a beach, another side, a forested area, and yet another side fronts a park! The ultimate dream life, man! -

Back to the topic..
my dream job would be to open a stall and serve what ever i like that day: depending on my mood and what i can buy from NTUC.
and since it's a dream rite, i dream that there will be a lot of ppl queuing up and have to wait at least 40min to get seated. Weekends is by reservation only. hehe...
but for now, i have to learn how to cook something else other than omelete with cheese and Instant noodles.. -
