Oh, I like that too but not as much as Winds of Change. In fact, I love their Gold Album. Their lyrics are not the typical "I love you, you love me" one.Originally posted by The man who was death:My fav tune, hmmm........... Still loving you by the scorpions
Yeap....Scorpion fan, I am.........drives my husband nuts though. I like Bad Company too. Not sure if you remember Ready for Love and Rock Steady. Oh, those were the days. Oh, what memories!!!!Originally posted by The man who was death:Fellow scorpion fan too
Stairway to heaven- Led zeppelin
Silent lucidity- Queensryche sp?
Winds of change is great too, perhaps an underrated anti-war song. The funny thing is the lyrics, gorky park confused with donkey parkOriginally posted by littlestream:Oh, I like that too but not as much as Winds of Change. In fact, I love their Gold Album. There is one (I forgot the title), part of the lyrics goes "'cos we all live under the same star, we all, walk under the same moon, so why, tell me why, can't we live as one". Each time I hear this, I get moved by why do we go to war and why do we discriminate.
Oic.. so cant have the song stored in my harddrive huh?Originally posted by LazerLordz:You can use http;//www.yousendit.com to store your songs and place the link here for others to enjoy too

and hi The Man who was death (in response to your salutation in Shoutbox).
I know but I do have a broad spectrum of music-listening. We have a multi-cultural radio station and when I call in for songs request, I typically request for these oldies because we hardly get to hear them anymore. The radio jockey also quite surprised. I have a radio on my workstation so I always have some form of music in the background.Originally posted by The man who was death:Quite surprising to know that a girl like such a hard rocking band. Another day? by dream theater? I like Wu Bai also, especially feng ye.Originally posted by littlestream:I know but I do have a broad spectrum of music-listening. The "newer" ones (by my standard lah huh) that I like (but not as much as the oldies) are I don't want to miss a thing and Another day.
We have a casino up north where many "older" artisits performed. My husband and I went to many as well as CCR. Wow! The guitarist, I love it. It's like he was caressing the guitar. Yes, I love the sound of guitar, Acoustic or Electric. Even the instrumental section of Hotel California. It never fails to take my breath away. We have like a entertainment area in our basement and when we watch DVD concerts, oh, we just blast our Bose away!
For Chinese guitarist, my fav. is Wu Bai (1) and Wang Pin Yuen (2).
Oh, pai seh ah, if I too "lo soh". When talk about music, I cannot stop ley.
Another day by Bryan Adams. Starts with "Dream, dream......." I think Nic Tse did a copy version in Cantonese.Originally posted by The man who was death:Another day? by dream theater? I like Wu Bai also, especially feng ye.
So, which country are u from?
Nvm lah, better to be lor soh. I dun really listen to chinese music only FIR and Wu bai. I also listen to beyond alsoOriginally posted by littlestream:Another day by Bryan Adams. Starts with "Dream, dream......." I think Nic Tse did a copy version in Cantonese.
Wu Bai is really talented. He wrote most of the scores and lyrics. I like Feng Ye also but he has many and I love the way he sings in Hokkien. Sometimes I exercise to his DVD (concerts). When I hold karaoke sessions at home and sings his songs, my friends just died........from laughters. (so bad). but I know it was just good humour. Or was it cruel humour. I like Chang Yu too. His prowess, I think second to none. There is this guy, xiao gung, err...I think Chou Chuan Xiong??? He hasn't got that much power but his voice is unique......to me lah huh.
I remembered watching Power Station in S'pore. Went with my sister. She was so embarassed by my "energy".
Aiyoh.....I really "kong buay liao". Pai seh hor.
Me? I AM S'porean but just living and working in Canada.
