Place an inflated balloon or an empty watertight container inside your flushing system so that everytime after flushing, the balloon or container occupies volume and less water is filled in the water chamber. If the balloon floats, it will also help push the lever faster so that the water inlet is closed before the water chamber is completely full. That way, each time you flush, you use less water.

Yes, I wish you luck in your pursuit with the town library. I have a neighbour who volunteered at the town library. Sort of "public awareness" of his existence. Eventually, the library offered him a job. Not a bad idea eh? No venture, no gain.
Is it snowing yet? With this hot, muggy and smog-filled summer, I do miss the cool weather. Know what, SL? We both have Blue Mountain. Yes, there is a ski resort named Blue Mountain in Ontario. Have you been up to the one in Sydney?

I need to learn more about cars too, since I'll be in Australia next year and would have to buy a car sooner or later and take care of its maintenance and what-not all by meself.
I hunted in the bookstores for a good book on Cars, providing basic knowledge, maintenance tips, etc. but couldn't find a single one! Doesn't Dorling Kindersly publish any book on cars? They publish great books on every other subject! No fair!

Yeah, in that vast country, you need to be mobile. But I think you will assimilate so easily. There's a hugh S'pore/M'sian community. I have relatives in Melbourne too but with a very very sad story. I'll share another time. -

College library was good experience... but now I feel it's time to move on... to learn s'thing new. I've always wanted to be with other librarians & learn things from them instead of being by myself... boring lah.
