  shoot weddings only if u understand and embrace what the whole "hoo-har" is all about. it's only then that u will produce the results u seek. this is what i believe.
  
  problem with photography is that to do well, u not only need to know about ur camera and style, u also need to know your subject, and a keen interest in that subject will push u a long way (hence i say concentrate on ur sports and "outdoor").
  

  outdoor... well, outdoor people, action, smiles, reactions, but so far i find that i'm really into sports shoots but u said i need high end equipment for that
  
  anyway i don't think i'm feeling enough "love" to go through a wedding shoot , so like u said, i'm not getting pictures i should be getting. Unless of course Karena Lam appears before me

  doesn't mean u can't shoot sports.. just shoot with wat u got, then upgrade if u want to.
  
  u have to remember, better equipment just increases ur chances of getting the shot u want. but if u have no idea what shot u want, or if your idea of the shot sux, it doesnt' matter wat equipment u have, no matter how high end.
  
  just remember the used and abused saying, it's not the camera, it's the photographer. generally.. that's TRUE.
  
  as for fuelling ur hobby, go ahead and fuel it, but i personally find it uncomfortable if that would be the only reason why u shoot a wedding event. it's my personaly opinion that when i shoot a wedding, it's more than just a job. it's a responsibility that is more onerous than many pple think.
  
  as for other events like corporate shoots, dinners etc, i guses the importance isn't there, but generally for anything that pple pay, u have to give some dedication and professionalism, not just a need to fuel a hobby, i feel.
  
  again, there are other ways to make money with photos. sell them to pple who want them, i've sold some pics to an ad agency for $50 bux each.. some fireworks for NDP. that was quite fun.. to see a cheque in the mail for something that i done without expecting anything in return.

  Let me think..... for weekday evening..... i will be going to work on my part time job as to fulfill my dreams of my life... It is not too late though for a guy like me in late 20 already... as for relaxing.. leaving it to saturday... maybe chill out with friends for kopi session and tok c*ck Sing song.... hahaha...
  
  then Sunday will be my family day.....
  
  Time flys.... juz a thought ... a week had gone by ...
  
  PLS cherish time as well as family as both can be gone with noticing it.. erm.. oso pls let me know if any 1 wanted to fulfill dreams with any leisure time u have.... quite profitable......
