And then, there are always folks who tell you that you have to 'push yourself' when you exercise or else, you're just mollycuddling yourself and won't be effective at all.
Y'know, the folks who go around running and chanting, 'No Pain, No Gain?'
I feel like shouting out to them, 'OI!!! No Pain, No Faint!'
I guess I see too many collapse or stroke-out cases in my work, so I'm quite a wussy when it comes to exercise!
A little pain of discomfort and I'll stop, because I'm quite paranoid and can't help thinking, 'Oh si! What if I collapse and all that?!' so I'll stop!
Well, at least, a wussy stays alive longer!
I don't think I'll ever forgive myself if I exercise like some maniac and end up lying in a hospital bed. It's one of those 'preventable' things, y'know.
Always remember, prevention is better than cure!
