Was walking past Holland V just now when I spotted a magnet with a poem, '10 things I love about you'. Quickly glanced through it and thought it was cute... until... I came to the last bit where it said, 'And most of all, I love how you love me!'
Then, that old song by the same title came to mind. Has anyone else heard that song, 'I Love How You Love Me'?
Anyways, it got me wondering, isn't it pretty selfish to say that you love a person because of the way they love you? I think I'd be none too pleased if my boyfriend were to say that to me!

Love it, love it. Actually, I heard the Cantonese version in one of TVB dramas, Lost In The Chamber Of Love (Ron Ng/Myolie Wu). I love it then already.
Somehow, hearing it in Chinese carries more weight like that. Just like when I advice my son, telling him in English like "boh laksa" like that. Chinese seems so much more profound. But he only understands, jiak, koon, choong lian. -

If my hubby tells me that, it means I am doing something right. That is, he likes the way I love him. It doesn't mean he loves me because I love him. Sometimes we can love somebody but our actions may not reflect that. So, if our actions are affirmed by the other party that they feel our love, that is romantic, right? Feels good isn't it?
Of course there are some who are so blur that they cannot tell nor appreciate, that whatever you do also wrong type or bu mah ju. Reminds me Tan Lui's Hokkien number, that "today wind very windy one". Got one line said "salted veggie cook not enough salty". Wah piang *hits forehead*. In conclusion, it is nice to be appreciated by our love ones.....with words too. -

Chor = wrong (pin yin may be wrong...sorry, I'm no expert either)
Xing = feelings
