  BTW, something very interesting I saw... a large helicopter hovered up in the air, high above, somewhere in front of Peninsula Plaza, all the time the parade was happening. I guess that's for aerial shots of the parade ground. It's amazing though... it remained up there all the while for quite a long time!! It looked like it was suspended by some invisible thread from heaven!

  hahahaha SP full fuel load can fly for up to 5hrs.
  
  Chinooks lasts longer definately... but SP provides the best view.

  Does staying stationery in the air consume less fuel than if it were to fly about? Does this mean that full fuel load is can fly for up to 5 hrs and if it's just to hover, the full fuel load can last longer?

  as far as i know, the engine burns more during a climb.
  
  but i usually count 1000lbs of fuel for every hour. (actually lesser than that but this is a rough gauge)

  haha... okay. this is behind the scenes.. this is what i watch my comrades did to the fun packs as i was there eye powering them.
  
  they were made to pack fun packs in a hot and fan-less warehouse. everyone was frustrated as they have to pack thousands upon thousands of fun packs. worse, they're short of manpower. we slept late because of that.
  
  so, without proper welfare, we anyhow do. they felt sleepy during their job and felt asleep upon the pile of completed bags. some sat on them to rest.
  
  some threw the bags on the stacks while piling them up.
  
  many rushed to complete the job by stuffing things in quickly without checking the details i.e. due dates, quality, dents... etc. basically, they dun care what the heck happens to the fun packs as long they r done.
  
  some of them did something to the whistle cotton... which... i dunno if u want me to say... cos i was very disgusted by it.
