I am turning 40 in August. When I was in my 20s, I dreaded the approach of my 30th birthday....sigh...in a flash, I am about to leave the 30s behind.

hi mushroom, this is my very first post, i am turning 30 this september (wake me up when september ends....)
any tips for making a person's 30s the most wonderful time of his/her life? -

Hey, 40's just a number - I've got plenty of friends over 40 who are living it up, and for them life just keeps getting better.

You can be in your 20s but living a life like you have retired at the age of 50 OR
you can be in your 40s but living like you have never live before -
it's all in the mind, i still feel like a teenager

the yr i turn 30, i had a couple of depression months.... felt old and fat and ugly .... hmm.... come to think of it, i'm stil feeling the same... oops!
seriously, u should be happy and enjoy whatever age u r!!!

hey.. it's just a state of mind
i was reminded how time flies last night at the bowling alley with my colleagues and friends.. when one who joined the department the same time as i did said that the bunch of us were getting together on 12 August.. it would be 10 years since we joined..
it didn't seem like 10 years... yet at the same time, it seems an eternity.. does it make sense?
oh well.. as i said.. it's a state of mind -
it isnt important how old you are as long as you are satisfied and happy.
what is the point of being young but full of troubles and worries? -
