I was in ACPS (Coleman St./Ft. Canning) from '73 to '78, and ACSS (Barker Rd.) from '79 to '81.

i was there.. umm.. (counts fingers and toes...) from 1976 to 1981 at Coleman Street... and many saturday mornings were spent exploring Fort Canning Hill
i was at Barker Road from 1982 to 1985 -

I m surprised that I read through all this.
Anyway, I hope 30s will be a good decade for me -
For some of us, 30's is the new 20's because we spend so much of our youth and 20's pursuing those paper qualifications and then embarking on the rat race, trying to establish ourselves in our chosen career paths, that time just whizzes by.
By the time we 'settle' down a little and get a relatively stable job, we find ourselves in our mid to late 20's.
And if the relationship that you invested a lot of your time in somehow didn't end in matrimonial bliss, you'll find yourself suddenly single again, and in your 30's.
And if you're super suay, you'll have parents and relatives clucking around you like panicky headless mother hens in a frenzy, getting all worried about you STILL being single! That's when you start to develop your own unique and cunning or even, vicious ways of counter-attacking them!
In the 20's, you're mostly still finding your footing in life. In your 30's, you'll find yourself with a newfound self-confidence (I hope!!) and you'll more or less have established the foundations for how the rest of your life might turn out.
Hmm... I think I'm going to have a pretty happy rest of my life by the looks of it!
What can I say... It rocks to be in your 30's! -
