It take me 13mins walk to the market near the interchange.
It take me 11mins bus journey to the market near the interchange. Without taking account of the waiting time for the bus.
I prefer to walk

Must wait for bus and spend extra money to save 2 mins?...... forget it -
used to walk to church.. takes me 45 minutes... people say i'm mad
but now, back's messed up... can't walk long.. -

i prefer to walk coz it is the only exercise i am doing.

If the weather's fair, I don't mind walking.
In fact, everyday, I climb up a slope to get to work.
I could easily alight at the bus stop where the road is paved and not uphill but I prefer the quiet, scenic route.

I have to climb a huge slope in my school everyday and i so hate it especially when its a hot day.

I prefer to walk or, better still, cycle. I perspire quite easily though, and some thieving chav broke my bicycle chain in a botched attempt to steal the bike.

I walk to the MRT from home and back from MRT to home almost everyday, unless it rains or if I'm carrying lotsa stuff. Takes about 15-20mins. But it gets too hot and humid during the hot April-May months - literally end up all hot and sweaty after the short walk. Any make-up would have been washed out. The hot weather here is not too conducive for long walks.

when i saw the title, i thot its another of those physo about life.....so many of us with busy life.....sometimes we forget to take it easy....to take a slow stroll just enjoying the sceneries or just to relax.....
yes i enjoy walking too.....and we make attempts to walk kids to school etc if we don't hv time constraint.....
and i am walking my girl to school every morning now..... -

I walk to n from my nearest swimming pool every sat.
A whooping 2.5 km each way at least, but it get my body warm up for the swim.
only 1 bus service that route n I can be expected to wait for 15 mins.
so might as well walk my way there -

i dun mind walking, but the problem is i end up sweaty when i reach my destination... sometimes not very nice lah, when u end up perspiring and stinking...
walked alot when i was in Hong Kong during the winter months... weather there very good, and u get to see a lot of things in the back alleys and shops... i miss Hong Kong

Back in sec sch days, i would sometimes walk from my school in margaret drive to my flat in telok blangah takes about 20 mins. sometimes I'll walk from redhill MRT station to my home also. Also about 20 mins. I'll walk from Bukit Merah library to my home also. About 15 mins
