Lately, I look around at the married / attached folks in my life, and pray to God that He hasn't forgotten about me! Kinda impossible to believe leh, since I 'talk' and 'grumble' and 'whine' to him so much!
Or maybe, like that old song goes, 'Stupid Cupid'! Maybe, Cupid needs new prescription specs so he can aim his arrows and stop missing the darn target!
Y'know, I miss the giving and the taking involved in a close and intimate relationship. I miss not living my life just for myself but for someone else as well. It's so lovely to go to work, and no matter how busy you are, no matter how shitty your day turns out to be, you have an evening date with your special guy to look forward to.
I also miss knowing that someone out there cares deeply for me and that we can share a meal together after a long day at work, and take a walk together or cuddle together afterwards, and tell each other about our day. I miss having someone being involved in my life, having someone listen to me with interest as I talk, not having dismissive words like, 'You think too much' / 'You are too sensitive', etc thrown my way when I ventilate. There's no one to talk to these days. 
I have so much to say, but it's all constipated inside!
I also miss being involved in someone's life - knowing what he's doing now, what he likes, what we're going to eat together later, what his plans are, etc...
Sometimes, I feel that I've been trudging through the desert for a very long time already. My soul feels parched but yet, I do not wish to be tempted by just a mirage - I want a real oasis!
Guess I can only hope and continue to pray quietly that the day will come when I'm paired up with a special guy again, and this time, let it be for better or for worse.

picking up the pieces and glue up is easy but the flaw is in the heart.
Takes time to heal, some take shorter time frame then others..
