Did you enjoy the National Day Parade this year?

  I was there for the preview but watching it on TV, you can see stuff you missed.
  
  I liked this year's NDP, although I wonder - why is there a lag between the sound and the mouth movement of the people on TV? Thought such broadcasting problems should have been ironed by then!

  I love the remote control flags that they outfitted with lights. They looked really magical when you're right there, but on TV, they looked insignificant.

  Hmm... for the past few mins, the song that was sung half in Mandarin and half in English, with Wendy Koh singing the English bit, kept playing in my mind!

  I usually don't watch it, not since sec. sch days when I kena-ed participation in the mass display...with weekly training in the hot sun or rain.

  we were all watching it on tv... the moment the helicopters finished the flypast, we all left the room to get ready for their return.

  This year's was pretty entertaining, not too draggy or over-the-top mushy / propagandist LOL. I liked the floats best.

  I'm totally out of touch with the newer national songs ... I heard this multi-lingual song but can't recognise it at all LOL Strangely, that's quite sad

  I think it's one of the few new songs composed for this year's National Day? The chorus is STILL looping in my mind today!
  
  Isn't is amazing - I can listen to a tune once and if it's somehow unforgettable to me, I can henceforth remember it for good!
  
  That song is sadly, not included in the VCD given in the Fun Pack.

  OK!!! Last night, they showed the MTV for that song that continues to play loops in my head! The CD's being sold too!
  
  The title of that song is, 'Uniquely You'. The Chinese lyrics to it are sooo touching! AAAaaaawwwww....

  Didn't watch the National Parade as usual
  
  So far, I can safely say I have only watched 1 parade and it was supposed to suck that year. Think it was the one with those dumb looking stuffed animal floats with one of them a merlion and god knows what else.
