And you know what's disturbing? ... That they appear to be resistant and unaffected by things that used to keep them at bay! I mean, I can turn on that mosquito repellant thing where you plug it into the socket and it heats up this stuff that's supposed to keep mosquitoes away... and I find that it doesn't keep them away anymore!Originally posted by Kuali Baba:Mosquitoes. They're everywhere in greater numbers now.

If so, you might be dehydrated!
Each of us needs to drink at least 1 L of water a day and if you're an active person, you'll need about two times that, or more, depending on your level and duration of activity.
If you're going under the hot sun, make sure you drink lots of water to keep yourself adequately hydrated as you're going to lose a fair bit of water through perspiration.
Like what one doc taught us in Nursing School, 'Headache? Drink water first, and see if it subsides - you could just be dehydrated!'
Take heed, everyone! Good health to all!

My mum bought this green plant and place it in the living room. The green plant seems to give off a natural scent that effectively repels mosquitoes. I recommend you buy one and place it in your living room too No more mosquito bites!Originally posted by Rhonda:And you know what's disturbing? ... when renovation was done an ice age ago, folks didn't ask me about where to put the damned ceiling fan...
anyway, i'm going to use another little fan to "draw in" the cool air outside during the nights
Eh... I think if you use a mist fan inside a small room, your stuff will all start to get mouldy fast!Originally posted by chunyong:should buy those dua leng gong mist throwe fans spotted at some food courts.....then will be SONG ! or build a turbine at one of the window outlet....then will be SONGer but make sure the blades orientate properly hor....else u will be drawing air out instead of it...

I think those fans are meant to be used in large, outdoor areas or spacious areas, not small bedrooms!
