COMEX 2005 will be held at the Suntec City Exhibition Ctr from 1-4 September at Level 4, Halls 401-404 from 12noon to 9pm daily. Admission is FREE!

i was at almost every IT fair, PC show, comex, sitex......
whether to work or as visitor.......
to me, it's nothing much to see cos i see those things everyday......
it's more like a conglomerate of all the SLS and funan ppl
there will be attractive promos
like early birds promo........trade-in promos......
and a mad price slash on the last day
pretty standard.....
good deals does not necessary mean it's cheaper
the perks are on the freebies.....
like a digicam might cost $888 when u buy it now
during comex they will still sell it at $888 but with free tripod, mem card, batteries, fotoprint vouchers...
buy printer free foto paper
buy PC free printer, bluetooth adapter blah blah blah
and not forgetting the throngs of part-timers pushing brochures to u
the showgirls in skimpy clothings promoting for certain brands
for those who wants to do research and avoid buying on impulse....
u can go collect all the brochures then go home and look thru
the prices for the show stands for 1 week after the show
means u can still pop down to their shop in SLS or Funan and get the same deal.......but while stocks last loh -
Hmm... sounds interesting, albeit the killer-crowd.
I'm thinking of getting a printer, a basic one, because I've been needing one for ages now.
I guess I should hop on down to the exhibition. Hopefully, will get freebies!
Erm... Canon printers are good for basic printing functions, right? What I wanna know is, are they reliable and not prone to frequent breakdowns? -

Sadly, their budget printers, iP1000, iP1500 and iP2000, are all using colour cartridges that aren't separate. Only the iP3000 allows separate colour cartridges so you just replace the colour you've run out of.
Wonder how much the iP3000 costs. -
oh... my dad'll be so sad cos this yr cannot attend... he'll be here in Sydney during that time. He's the type who goes to every IT fair in Sg!

Wish he was attending COMEX this year... I sure would like feedback from others when it comes to choosing my printer.
I'm torn between getting a basic, budget model, and getting a model that is slightly more ex, but has more features. -
