Hmm...I thought it's natural to find vege with worms, unless they've been overdosed with insecticide? Esp. those xiao gai lan with many layers - usu. can find a worm or two or sometimes tiny snails hiding inside.
I like the Tai Hua low salt sauce, gives vege a better taste than salt. This thread has given me a couple of nice ideas, like the tang gui soya sauce for fish.
I use the high grade thick dark soya sauce to cook tau yu chicken, but it taste a bit strange, got bitter taste.
