i've had hamsters...
2 male hamsters, they fight all the time
2 female hamsters, they fight all the time

it's 24 Aug and we've had about 6 separate briefings this month about things we already know!

Does your dumb but adorable hammie bite, or like to run on the ferry wheel? My kiddie neighbour has a pair and he used bring them over to our home to let us play. I'm quite tempted to get a pair. A friend wanted to give us a chinchilla but I figured hamsters need less space and dun need aircon. -

if you get a pair, you will need to give them a LOT of space.. and if male and female, you wil get a LOT of hamsters by the end of the year...
and you gotta know what to do when the hamster gives birth.. and that is to give it a LOT of food and water, cover it with a cloth to give her a dark place away from noise and remove the male... and don't peek for a couple of weeks.. which means the cage will get yukky... but try not to disturb them...
as for men giving massages? i dunno about others.. but giving and receiving massages with a loved one.. it's absolutely... -

Baby hamsters? No lah...I don't intend to start a breeding programme. Am slightly hesitant in case the hammie bites me with the sharp fangs, although I've had cat fangs sunk into my hand before (due to aberrant behaviour, but still a good cat). -
