No lah, I took a half day to run errands. New school year next week ley so very busy too. I'm home trying to sort out some papers and books but so tired already. Taking a breather in here and listening in to news. Got to check if "your" storm is making its way here?

According to the storm trackers, Katrina is supposed to turn north-east and move up more or less along the eastern seaboard. By the time it reaches anywhere near you, it would most likely just be a tropical disturbance. Fortunately, Minnesota is not expected to experience any adverse weather from the remnants of Katrina.
I'm at home now; dinner tonight.... um.... still not decided. I feel lazy, and might just go out for food. Actually, pizza doesn't sound all that bad...
What are gas prices like in your area? They spiked this afternoon around here, and are now topping US$2.80/gallon.

Hellooooo, folks!! Wah, I finally logged on after being offline for a few days and sooooo much catching up to do!
Sorry I haven't been online.
I haven't been feeling well, and on top of that, there's the new workplace I have to adjust to, then there was a period when I had to assert my right and fight to stay on in my chosen area of clinical specialty, then I felt really really down and went out till late with a erm... 'good friend' , had a bad roster this week, then last night, had to play 'missy' to my stubborn and silly grandma and came back soooo exhausted, I fell asleep whilst watching CSI: Miami and CSI: NYC on AXN. Watched the beginning of both, then slept through the middle and the ending!! 
Have to catch the two episodes again either this evening, or Sunday night.
Everyone seems to be fine and peachy! I was giggling or chuckling (erm... is there a verb for 'chuckle'? ) whilst reading through the pages and pages AND pages of posts I've missed these few days!
I miss all of you!! Sorry, just really couldn't bring myself to log on. Sometimes, a wounded and ill critter just needs to retreat into the deep recesses of her cave to lick her wounds and recuperate! Tried howling out for some company to snuggle with, but... bo response, leh!!
Sometimes, when I daydream, I imagine myself to be a cat... and I really wonder when I'll find that good guy who'll be able to rub me the right way and make me purr with bliss and contentment! And also feed me nice little treats now and then. Nice food is very very important, y'know!
I've got serious bodyache all over! Aaaaargh!! Maybe, I should just marry a nice Physiotherapist / Masseuse! Or hell, just marry a man who'll buy me a nice OSIM chair or ... still wondering... does that OSIM iMassage thing or whatever come with the man operating it? 
Tonight, might not be able to come online again cause I'm going to attend a performance. Well, let's see how it goes. It's been a tough few days! -
It's kinda weird... even in the daytime, when the Night Owls Chatterboxes is supposed to be closed and the Jive Pad's supposed to take over, folks STILL prefer to yak in the chatterboxes in the daytime! Myself included!
I'm starting to wonder... izzit because the Jive Pad has a not-so-attractive ring to it? -
