Hello owls...............
Oh, MG.........it felt like driving in winter. What a downpour!!! Is it raining cats and dogs at your end too?
And gas prices have gone sooooo up, hor? Aiyoh, I remembered paying like 37 cents. No such days liao. It finally hit the dollar mark. Most if not all gas stations has only three digits on their signboard so I think those signage people must be laughing to the bank. But of course I saw some cheapo stations, just use temporary signboard to accommodate the four digits.

But you have less km to drive mah. Don't know about you but one way for me is about 20km. I take about 30 mins, which by Cdn standard, not bad already, in terms of commuting time. Some spend hours on the road ah.Originally posted by the Bear:C$1 per litre?
wow.. i think we're happy if it goes below S$1.50 per litre here

It's sad that the presidential elections in this country have degenerated into having to choose between the lesser of two evils.

I just checked your user profile and noticed you are from Saskatchewan, Canada. Cool! I'm in Minnesota, by the way.
How did you end up in Canada, if you don't mind my asking?

If you're referring to the one-word entries, Gedanken and I found out the hard way yesterday that hitting the spacebar while the "OK" button was highlighted was the equivalent of clicking the "OK" button.Originally posted by the Bear:check out the shoutbox... it's pretty freaky

Is that the "freakiness" to which you were referring? Or am I completely missing something else?
