It's not only a ladies' wine leh!Originally posted by Rhonda:The different grades of tea depends on the time the tea leaves are picked. Well, generally speaking.
Last night, I tried Choya for the first time and now, I'm hooked!! At first, I thought it was too darn strong, so I mixed it into my non-sugar green tea with plum juice and it was ooooh-la-la!! Then, I took a sip again and whoooaaa... goooood!!!
The whole day today, I've been stealing sips of Choya now and then!
BTW, here's Choya :
CONTENT 50ml
UME FRUIT 10ml
ALCOHOL.15.0%
It's a Plum Wine with UME fruit (some premium plum). It's a ladies' wine and I LOVE IT!!

ME !! ME !!! ......Originally posted by Rhonda:Actually, stellazio... it's not just the height per se that attracts me to the men over there... it's also the fact that they're more mature, and less superficial than our local men.

Indeed. When I first moved here to begin my postgrad studies, I was amazed at how readily total strangers walking down the street would throw a "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon" in my direction. It probably helped that the university was located in a relatively small and friendly midwestern city, but I was amazed nonetheless. Try that in Singapore and people would probably look at you like you just stepped out of a UFO.Originally posted by Rhonda:Y'know, it's extremely odd, but when I'm here, I tend to prefer to keep to myself and take a long time to warm up to strangers. But, when I'm there, I notice that I will even walk up to total strangers and say 'Hi!' to them!
I feel that they don't intrude on your privacy and I somehow feel more liberated to approach them! I'm certainly more sanguine over there! Maybe, I just need to get my ass over there, what the hell!!
Wah, korny!! You da man!! You like Choya too? Now, you've got my full attention!!Originally posted by k4korny:It's not only a ladies' wine leh!

Well, I thought they were marketing it as a ladies' wine because of their ads. Of course, men are free to drink it too, but I guess what they meant was that ladies might find it more appealing because it's a plum wine.
Oh drats!! Must ask Gedanken if they have Choya over in Melbourne! Otherwise, without Choya, AND without Ben & Jerry's... man, what kinda place is that?!!

If you don't see my nick, it means I'm gone for lunch, hor. Will be backkkkk. Oops, I just burst out laughing and finger triggered the "k" key. One colleague came by and asked if I want to join them drinking (yes, during lunch, it's Friday mah). I said no. Then, the Vietnamese guy beside my cubicle said, "she doesn't drink." I said "yes, you are right." Then, he came back with "she only takes cocaine."
