actually i think match making service help to save time for busy executive .. arranging for initial dates can be troublesome .. u free she not free .. she free u busy .. but many r shy .. wat if u mit yor colleague or yor friend find out ..

wat i mean is .. too busy to even make the first date .. like u see tis gal u think u like but very busy wif work so no mood no time to call her, to test water .. whether she keen to go out, wat she think of u, she got bf or not, wat's her impression of u .. weekend comes n u finally got space to think of her but she got date already .. next weekend same thing n next .. then she got busy, need to travel .. after a while u forget about her n one day u recieve her wedding invitation ..Originally posted by Fatum:ermmm .... save time for busy executives ? ..... i think majority of the ppl r still shy joining such services. They give excuses like busy wif work, career first, waiting for the right girl/guy, wanna find a pretty/handsome one....friends will introduce etc. so by then they miss the boat, age catching up n they become desperate..

The thing is that it really doesn't matter if you're signing up with a matchmaking agency, hitting the singles bars or keeping your eyes open whenever you go to the supermarket.
What does matter is that nothing's ever going to come to you if you sit still and wait. You have to go out there to get it. If going to a matchmaker is what it takes, who is anybody else to say something about that? -

I am classic case of a hunter-killer type. Be it on MRT, hawker center, library, Borders and shoppiing malls, I am constantly observing potential mate.

Whilst I know that a lot of folks think that match-making services just help you to get to know more people and thus, widen your social circle and increase your chances of meeting 'the one', I can't help but feel that one gets labelled as a 'Desperado' the minute one turns to such services.
Dunno... maybe I'm just not into match-making services.
But, to me, it's a different ballgame altogether when friends try to arrange for outings to intro you to a guy.
I know, I know... 'double standards'... but I just can't help feeling ikky about match-making services even though I pay lip service to the points I mentioned in my first para! -
