Shang Yue Outing!

It's that time of year for gorging on mooncakes again!
Let's get together to celebrate the Festival!
When : Monday, 19 Sep 05. In the evening, most likely about 6 or 6:30pm.
Supper afterwards?
Where : Chinese (and Japanese) Garden
(nearest MRT Station is Chinese Garden)
What : Explore the Lantern Festival there, have a mooncake picnic, recite silly Chinese poems about the full moon and howl, drink tea, laze about...
Coincides with our 1st Shutterbugs Outing too!
How much : Entrance fee during off-peak periods (Mon-Thu) - $9.00; peak periods (Fri-Sun) - $13.00.

Ride up to Hatyai, then Phuket. Relax there then ride back down to Hat Yai and gather with other bikers at Penang for the 3 Nation Ride. After that we head back to Singapore.
Its too dark to take photos leh~ but bring a tripod. -

Please note that if we go during the off-peak periods, ie. Mon-Thu, the entrance fee is $9.00 BUT, during peak periods (Fri-Sun), the fee becomes $13.00!!
So, if I change it to a weekday night, would you turn up? Or, would you rather pay extra and brave the crowd anyways?
Also, Bear said that school holidays start during the week starting 12 Sep. We should go before then!!

Vote! Vote!! So, ok, we can keep our original date and I'm sure there'll be lots of leftover mooncakes for you guys to bring and share, since the festival would be over by then!
Only thing is, need your feedback re. the entrance fee! Personally, I'd rather go during off-peak, like Thursday night, and save $4! -
