u meant the elin????? cafe rite?Originally posted by Wanda:Sorry, TP = Toa Payoh Sakura is also at Tampines (I think) and elsewhere, but I suggested TP bec it's more central.
Soul Garden will cost about $25 or slightly more including the ++.
If don't mind paying more, eh...Merchant Court has a nice buffet ($25-$30) with its very popular durian mousse. Bookings are a must though as it's very popular.
These are a couple of suggestions which I had tried before.
Barbeque sounds good.Invigorates the soulOriginally posted by Rhonda:Y'know, I realise that everytime you ask folks in here to make a choice about something, there'll be a lot of posts talking about everything BUT their choice!
Come on, guys! Make a choice!!
- Cafe 211; OR
- Kuishin-Bo; OR
- Barbeque?
Let's show each other that we can be a focused lot!

We had a swell time up in Cafe 211 in Holland Road Shopping Centre! That was also my very first Forums outing!
Remember too, this feast we had at Kuishin-Bo?
http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=124546&page=0
That was some feast!!
So, now that we have the luxury of time, let's suggest what we should do to celebrate Club 30's 1st Anniversary!
Should we :
- Return to Cafe 211, where it all started?
- Return to Kuishin-Bo for a feast to remember? OR
- Have our very own BBQ?
Any and all suggestions are welcome!!

Why don't we give the restaurants in the thread below a try???Originally posted by Rhonda:OK, here's the deal...
In Cafe 211, we can nua and talk and talk till 11plus cause that's when they'll close. BUT, it's not a buffet.
At Kuishin-Bo, we can eat and eat and eat and the spread there is pretty decent. It will set us back by what... about $40 for a dinner buffet though.
Hmm... I think, I'll prefer Kuishin-Bo... $40 and gao dim sai (settles everything). We can leave Cafe 211 for our New Year's Eve celebration! How about that?
And our 1st Anniversary's on 12 Nov. Plenty of time for those of you on limited budget, but wants to join in, to start saving! Save about $15 a month starting now!

Better still, why don't we plan to have several 1st Anniversary celebrations since we have so many great ideas and can't really make up our minds? Part I, Part II...
