If don't mind paying more, eh...Merchant Court has a nice buffet ($25-$30) with its very popular durian mousse. Bookings are a must though as it's very popular.
These are a couple of suggestions which I had tried before.
I had it once, only the durian mousse is nice, the rest of the stuff is so so only. -

That was also my very first Forums outing!

So, now that we have the luxury of time, let's suggest what we should do to celebrate Club 30's 1st Anniversary!
Should we :
- Return to Cafe 211, where it all started?
- Return to Kuishin-Bo for a feast to remember? OR
- Have our very own BBQ?
Any and all suggestions are welcome!!

In Cafe 211, we can nua and talk and talk till 11plus cause that's when they'll close. BUT, it's not a buffet.
At Kuishin-Bo, we can eat and eat and eat and the spread there is pretty decent. It will set us back by what... about $40 for a dinner buffet though.
Hmm... I think, I'll prefer Kuishin-Bo... $40 and gao dim sai (settles everything). We can leave Cafe 211 for our New Year's Eve celebration! How about that?
And our 1st Anniversary's on 12 Nov. Plenty of time for those of you on limited budget, but wants to join in, to start saving! Save about $15 a month starting now! -
