I agree we shd be compassionate to the poor and those who need help, but don't you find it strange for ppl to donate money to the richest, most powerful nation in the world? We're talking about the nation that ignored the UN agreements and spent billions of dollars invading other countries, destroying ppl's lives, just to find the non-existent weapons. What about Africa (aids epidemic, child prostitution, etc.), Somalia, apatheid?
