  Wow, today was a helluva day!! I didn't even get a 5 minute break and had to leave late too! Didn't even have my dinner till about half an hour ago! I was soooo hungry I chucked the whole thing like I was some famine victim! Pai seh...

  most of it was under water.. a LOT of water.. and sewerage.. and worse...
  
  the people were baking under the hot sun, with no shelters...
  
  some were forced to loot because the relief supplies did not come in as Bush and his cronies didn't care enough to ensure relief efforts went right.. they didn't even come back from their vacation...
  
  it was only after 5 days that the first supplies got in...
  
  by that time, the stadium was turned into such a hellhole that people left it..

  I didn't catch the news..Kinda sad to hear about it..Oh yea i heard about the stadium tingy,wonder how much will it cause to rebuilt the city..

  In times of disaster, the leaders should ALWAYS cancel whatever they have scheduled to attend to the people!!
  
  I remembered in some recent disaster in Asia, that was precisely what one prominent leader did - cancel their holiday to return to help their countrymen!!
  Leaders are meant to watch out for their followers! Otherwise, why have that leader at all?
  
  Doesn't Bush feel any bit of empathy at all for the victims?!

  I was watching ABC and that was exactly what the Mayor of new orleans said.

  OK... I have just posted an Open Letter published in the Houston Chronicle in this thread.
  
  Reading the letter will make you understand why the survivors of the disaster are so mad at Bush and his administration.

  The only positive i can take out of this disaster is that,the bush adminstration will surely be gone in the next elections..And hopefully so..
