I watched a programme on Animal Planet just now on the Riddler's Elephant Sanctuary in Arkansas where they focused on one of their two elephant babies born in captivity. Sooooo cuuuuuuute!!
Did you know that baby elephants have to learn how to use their trunks for drinking water and very often, they fail in their first few attempts, so they get frustrated and end up dunking their mouth into the water source instead?
And...
Did you know that when male baby elephants are a few months old, they start to learn how to 'charge' by running straight at something, and in the process, they learn that their large ears are not just good for hearing, they're also good for making them appear larger and more intimidating!!
