I like the Lao Zhong Guo ones! Especially the Plain Lotus mooncake!

Aiyoh, brand also ah? Looks like I have to come back tomorrow. Got to check it out at the store. But for sure, anything with egg yolk in it (4-yolk the best). Yeah, I know. My friends asked me to eat the yolk enough already. No need to eat mooncake.

I like snow-skin mooncakes. With melon seeds, no yolks. If there's yolk, i'll remove them & gif to yolk lovers like u.

Mom was telling me about a Green Tea mooncake she ordered from a colleague. The supplier was from Malaysia. She says the mooncake had a line of 'white stuff' in it and it was soooo fragrant and yummy!
And I was thinking, "Never save some for me!"

I made my own mooncakes and snow skin mooncakes once, donkey years ago, in a class!
It can be quite fun! A lot of work goes into it, though.
Anyone else has tried their hand at mooncake-making too? -

Oh, I like snow skin too. I sort of reminds me of that Japanese pastry, you know? Looks like mochi type but it is not ice cream. It is also snow skin but they use glutinous flour so a bit gooey gooey type when you bite it off. Then, inside is red bean. They have four types. One is the black sesame, and then sesame, the green colour one and one greyish colour one. Got see or not? The dessert also needed to have a thin dusting of flour otherwise can get stuck on wrappings.

Look at stellazio! He's our young generation, but also very gu wak chai (Cantonese), always up to no good (I heard he delves in voodoo too! Oooh!)

I remember I tried it two years ago when a friend offered a piece to me - it tasted a bit like ... marzipan? The texture's a bit like some sugary paste, hopefully, not lard! -

I am currently watching a drama with Nick Tse and Dicky Cheung. Nick sure look hot in that period drama. And that Dicky? He never seem to age. Hmmm...must ask him what products he uses. -
