basically, i dun really help out with the household chores besides washin the dishes. tho it'd be nice to help out a lil, but am afraid of crossin a line cos i'm not sure how his mom would take that.
when they're away, i did help out a lil, at least clean up the mess i created when attempting to cook

the SIL for her case is really bai chi bai zhu. The husband paid for all the expenses. She send her money back to her mom to start a kopi shop which failed. But then she's likes to shop and spend on useless things.
But then my bro's ex-wife also like that. all she does is vacumm the floor and she goes out to her friends and said we made her into a maid. My mom takes care of her kid, do the cooking and washing and everything else in between while my ex-SIL sat all day in front of the TV and choose to remain unemployed and complain about everything. She even wanted to get a maid to do her vacumming ... -

She comes back when the money we gave her runs out and she out-stay her friend's generosity.
Then she had lots of free time to locate a lawyer and sue us for all the assets and money my parents (they are hawkers -what assets? ) have when she kicked up a fuss and wanted out of the marriage. Anyways, my parents paid dearly for a useless son and a lousy DIL. So if you MIL finds fault with you... she needs a talk with me and I'll tell her what a terrible person can do to a household. -

As for five bedrooms, aren't those called 'Executive Flats'? Not sure.
I do know that if your parents are staying with you, you can actually apply for one of those 'Jumbo Flats' in Woodlands where it's like two flats with a door linking them. I've never been to one, but I've heard that they're HUGE!
executive flats only have 3 bedrooms + 1 study area + living + dining....
those jumbo flats if i'm not mistaken need to be "3 generation" together then can apply...
shinta instead of just going for big flats... think wat u need, wat u afford.... u dun really wanna spend the next 30 yrs paying for a flat rite?
starting a small family, technically u only need a 4rm flat... which is cheaper, in more abundance... u can always upgrade later when the kid come.... -
