Rhonda has described the method very well, ie put washed rice into the rice cooker, then add the pre-stir-fried ingredients over it to cook. The magical condiments are onions, garlic, bit of ginger (saute till fragrant), oyster sauce and some chicken stock and a little black soya sauce. Just take note to reduce the water slightly (compared to cooking white plain rice) bec. the vege will have water as well. You don't want the rice to be soggy. When the rice cooker finish cooking, let it sit for 10-15 mins...that's when you get the lovely mushroom fragrance. they eat wat kids normally don't eg chicken feet, sea cucumber, duck wing, pig intestine....
other then sea cucumber my fav, i don't eat the rest...i seriously don't know how they learn to eat those stuff....
