It's all a matter of perspective. You must be aware of how you're coming across to the other party. You might have good intentions (though, it's inconceivable in this case), but the way you're putting it across as in, the words you're using, how you're saying it, the context, etc, all send across an 'invisible msg' or vibe to the receiving party.
This whole saga has been irritating from the get-go. We've been nice in the beginning, phrasing it nicely, asking you to stop by making a joke out of the whole thing, but you just didn't get it. So, we got harsher and more direct.
And you still persisted.
So, what's there left to do?
I hope our message has FINALLY hit you.
We're all friends here, so once you stop the offensive behaviour, there shall be no more hard feelings involved.
Be careful when you start work because things can get real messy.
