Wow, you remember Quah Kim Song and Dollah Kassim, eh? Do you also remember Eric Paine, the goalie for the Singapore soccer team back in the seventies? He actually lived pretty close to me.
I was inundated with work right after I got back from lunch, so I'll be checking in here only intermittently for the rest of the afternoon.

Aiyoh? You don't even know your team won ah??? Hey, big thing leh. And I'm not sure if you did have Paul Molitor in the team then, but I think he is the legend for the Twins. If memory didn't fail me (again), he retired as a Blue Jays. Or maybe not but for sure he played for the Jays.
Eric Paine? Yeap, I do. And you do remember Kim Song has a brother, Kim Lye? By the time Fandi Ahmad came to the scene, I was already almost leaving Sg liao so don't know the scoop. Oh, so where were you in Sg? Sembawang?
I think it was Sembawang where my friends and I would take a dingy out to fish. Isn't there an island out there too? Is it Sister Island? It's pretty scary at night on the dingy with fishes flying here and there. Yes, I'm not kidding. They were like...flying across. The best part had to be catching flower crabs and putting them on the BBQ pit right after. We camp overnight in the tent and nature's call.......*ahem* were conducted *ahem* out in the nature (woods) too. Oh, the memories.

Sleep lah, then can score 300 in your game. Errrr....pai seh, is 300 the max ah? Actually, I like the wrist guards you posted. The metallic part makes me feel like alien like that. But if I were performing, I could wear them. For costume.
My last performance, I used the next best thing. I used headband. Cut it in two and stitched it up as two wrist bands. -

i can barely get near 200, let alone have delusions of 300
and not light sleeper.. non-sleeper more like it.. the last couple of nights were night shifts..

Awwww...........thank you, thank you. Hao gan dong leh albeit cruel lah. You know I had a light lunch and post this kind of pic to make me drool or what? I eat light lunch 'cos later may have heavy dinner lah. Friends told of this new Indian eatery so we are all going to try it out tonight. Oh, actually not Indian eatery ah. Chinese from Pakistan. Hey, I'm lacking food or oxygen. How come memory so bad???
Broke ah? How come? You don't work part time one meh? See? You so lucky. You know? I was a child labour (pre-teen mah ). I waited at tables, part time and only make S$10 a day. That to me was a big deal already, then. Then, as a young teen, I worked part time in a camera shop manning the frontdesk. But all these experiences build me. -
i'm at home now
as for work, it comes in spurts.. and i can say that not many can handle the pressures when the whole lot comes in

And oh, thanks for the reminder. Maybe can sneak out a little earlier. Got to meet hubby at his ex-landlord's. He's a retired mechanic. Getting him to take a look at my brakes. Actually, that Hyundai guy quoted me about C$135. But labour is S$80 leh. And then that @#$%^^ 15% tax leh!!!
