Did the dealership itemize what exactly you'd be getting for that C$135?

Wow a dinner for four for C$21 is actually quite reasonable! Plus, Asian food in your city is probably much more authentic due to the demographics of the population there. A typical all-you-can-eat (and not-so-authentic) Chinese dinner buffet around here usually costs around US$10 per person.Originally posted by littlestream:
So bad.
Anyways, I'm back from the dinner. It was good. Small place but really busy. Many take-outs too. Take-outs get 10% discount. We ordered two dishes for a party of four. We had deep fried spicy fish which all of us agreed was good. The other dish was Manchurian chicken. I like it 'cos the chopped coriander leaves were generously thrown in. The bill came up to C$21 including tips and taxes. Cheap, cheap, yah?

And oh, thanks for the reminder. Maybe can sneak out a little earlier. Got to meet hubby at his ex-landlord's. He's a retired mechanic. Getting him to take a look at my brakes. Actually, that Hyundai guy quoted me about C$135. But labour is S$80 leh. And then that @#$%^^ 15% tax leh!!! How? You think the dealership reasonable or not?
MG sounds like a suitable candidate..He fits the description you have of the perfect guy..Originally posted by Rhonda:
Wei! Wei!! Wei!!! littlestream, you're starting a scandal!
And, I have never said I don't want you, ok! It's just that everytime I asked you, you kept saying the last time you and your hubby came here was in 2000 and you don't think you'll be here anytime soon and all that jazz, so, I just thought maybe, try my luck on MG!
Don't think crooked!!
Time for me to join the Witness Protection Program here, at least until this latest scandal blows over.Originally posted by stellazio:MG sounds like a suitable candidate..He fits the description you have of the perfect guy..
